I cannot get LED replacement landscaping path lights to match existing, so this was a simple way to upgrading broken lights or simply switch from incandescent or halogen to new LED sockets and bulbs. Use WAGO connectors rather than wire nuts to connect to existing wiring and a hot melt glue gun will secure the new socket in place if there is no screw post. Very easy DIY solution
